The club has a fleet of Comet Trio training boats. You will learn how the boat sails (in the classroom) and how to rig, launch and sail the boat in the practical course which takes place on the lake. | ||

Competent, qualified sailing instructors will show you how to handle the boat initially, but after while you will be sailing on the lake with other members of the course. | ||
 |
Safety is paramount at the club. As part of the course you will be expected to 'right a capsized boat'. The exercise is carried out in a safe environment with rescue teams close by all of the time. | ||
 |
After successfully completing the course you will be given your RYA certificate and allowed to rent the club boats. |
